Java news

I have placed an ad for a year to promote The Java Breeders of America Club in the Exhibition Poultry Magazine and will probably place one in the Backyard Poultry Magazine. I  have also received some pictures of Javas from Dawn and Lyle. Lyles pictures are posted under Auburn Javas and Dawns are here. Thanks for the pictures. Send your pictures to post here anytime. I also would like any stories you have written to add here also.

Thanks everyone

Thanks for your interest in the Java Club. I did the research on Javas and clubs and found the yahoo group and a few other things but not much. I really want the Java chickens to have a club, with members and a booth somewhere at a meet like other breeds have. I realize that this will take time. I do not charge any money to join and quarterly email newsletters will be free. All I want is participation from members. The only purpose of this is to keep Javas up on the web and to promote them. I want this also be free until there is a possibility down the line that it could have a small annual dues. What kills alot of clubs in the early stages is money. Its all about the Javas for me. I am just a website designer that breeds Javas and a few other birds. I am pretty good with the design aspect and with organization. Let me know. Thanks stay in touch and add your self and send me your articles etc. to post. It takes a village to preserve a breed.

Join this club...its free.

Young cockeral
I'm working on images and information about this breed. I have 2 trios of Mottled Javas. I would like this to expand and become a large network of Java lovers. Lets save this wonderful chicken and show some at the big meets. Anyone that has them, wants them or just likes them can join. Please send me your info at carondesign@hotmail.com. Put Java in the subject of your email. If you breed them send me all that info to put on the breeders list. Thanks

Javas

I am starting this club today. I will be updating it regularly. Please contact me if you would like to join. Membership is free now. I will pay for everything for now. I have 2 trios of Mottled Javas and would like to make this club work. I did not see any Javas at the Shawnee Show out of 4500 chickens.
